What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should refrain from uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we create a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies and store your login information and your screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen display cookies last for one year. If you select "Remember me," your login will last for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will disappear.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including tracking your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Workout by Søren Eliasen uses 3 parts. software for handling payments, customer data for courses, including name, address, telephone number, email, gender, age, weight, body measurements, and any images uploaded. 

Stripe is used for payments through ABC Glofox, and both ABC Glofox and ABC Trainerize, owned by the same group ABC Fitness Solutions, are used for customer data.
MailChimp is also used as an email marketing tool where names and email addresses are stored. 

These providers are subject to the same applicable GDPR rules and are encrypted. 

If you wish to have your data disclosed and/or deleted, this will of course be supported in accordance with applicable GDPR legislation, and requests should be sent to soren@workoutbysoren.dk.

How long we store your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account on this website or have posted comments, you can request an exported file containing the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal, or security reasons.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.

Your contact information

Your contact information will be stored in our internal systems until you request its deletion.

We do not disclose your information for sales, marketing, or other commercial purposes. 

Your information will only be used internally to prepare your courses.
